Can anyone recommend a good photo-finisher in Chicago? |
I am looking for a place to get my pictures developed. I use standard 35mm film, but may try B&W in the near future. I am looking for a GOOD, Professional Quality developer-- I refuse to take my pictures to Walgreens or the like. Before I moved I took my film to a small local camera store and was quite pleased with their results, but that's a full day's drive (Grand Rapids, MI). Developing time and cost is less important to me than the quality of the print, so it does not need to be a one-hour shop. I just want a place that cares as much about my images as I do. A place that caters to Professional Photographers is an advantage, even if they are a little more expensive. I also prefer one that is CTA Accessible. Central Camera Co 230 S Wabash Ave (312) 427-5580 http://www.central-camera.com/ Very fast service and the quality can't be beat. I wouldn't trust my film to anyone else. They have a great selection of film also. I'm like a kid in a candy store every time I go there! LOL! You just need to hop on the red line, then get off at the Jackson/State stop. It's right there. Can't miss it. Helix. I think it is at Morgan and Jackson....just right outside downtown area. Don't know if u r a north or southsider otherwise I could help you out more. Try the yellow pages. |
