Can anyone recommend a good camera? |
i really want to be a professional photographer- and I'd like to get a good camera at a decent price to start learning on. I'd like to have something with amazing zoom. I already have a digital camera but its more for recreation. If your truly want to become a pro, start with a film camera and some school. Start taking some photo-art classes at your local community college and after you have had a few classes, you should have a better idea if you want to make the commitment to becoming a pro. Nikon and Canon cameras are the choice of about 80% of the professional photographers and they each have film and digital bodies for all their lenses. There are not now, nor have there ever been professional quality cameras and lenses at a decent price unless you purchased them used. If you are interested in pursuing a career in photography, here is a list of the four top schools in the US Art Center, Pasadena, California Brooks Institute of Photography, Santa Barbara/Ventura, California Cal Arts, Valencia, California Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester New York Source(s): http://www.artcenter.edu http://www.brooks.edu http://www.calarts.edu http://www.rit.edu Editorial, sports and glamour photographer Look cameras are like cars. You can spend a lot or you can spend less. Depends how much you are willing to spend and if it really suits your needs. Since you want to be a photographer, what I would do first is to find one of the camera shops and talk to a professional there. You should first of all take a beginners photography course and maybe just buy a starter camera, and see really if this is what you want to do. You do not want to spend a lot of money on a camera and then decide this is not what you wanted to do. There are some web sites who offer the beginner photography courses on line for free. You just need to search the internet and you will find them. Canon has a good site to where you can go and browse their cameras. They go from one price extreme to another. Go to www.canon.com Nikon D40 I'll recommend the samsung NV3 camera it's very convenient and easy to use it is 7.2 megapixel camera and it is not only for taking picture it has text viewer, portable media player, mp3 and much more it has 3x optical zoom. Actually I own this kind of camera it is very slim and stylish and It does'nt cost that much. Try to research for it again Samsung nv3. |
