Unidentified rock pool creature recently photographed in Australia. Anybody help ?

A friend of mine is a professional photographer of plants in Australia and has recently taken a picture of an ususual blue coloured creature some 4 inches long like a sea plant living in a rock pool near Sydney in Australia. It appears to be like a sort of anemone. It moves only slowly. Can anyone possibly identify it ? I can send photograph to any interested person if they can provide an email address.

i agree

"like a sort of anemone", nudibranchs have cool tenticals

"moves very slowly", 1 it moves, so its not an anenomy
2 nudibranchs are gastropods like snails & slugs (and they move slow dont they!)

well spoted, i love nudibranchs they are realy cool

i think there is a swimming veriaty that is called "the flamenco dancer"

send a pic to: atlantic_surf@hotmail.co.uk
and i will confirm it for you if you want?
Might it be a nudibranch?
