I have a question about college and all that..? |
ok..i want to be a photographer..im a junior..um..do i have to go to college to be like a professional photographer? arent there like some schools instead of colleges? One of my friends went through the program at the Art Intitute (in his case, Philadelphia). On the other hand, my youngest nephew just started a bachelors degree program in advertising photography. I'm sure that there are community colleges that offer programs that are as good as the Art Institute but much less expensive. I would take at least a few introductory business courses, if they are not included in the program. If you're successful you'll probably end up running your own business someday, but from the beginning you'll need to understand what the client needs and how they'll use your work. Good luck! |
