What is the best digital camera ever made ?!? |
i need to buy a a perfect camera and i dont care about money all i want is performance i want reviews techincal info and websites for the best canon camera ever made with all the technology please i need a professional answer from a professional photographer !!! pls help me and i want this question to make a competition between all of the photographer !!! Best is highly subjective as it relates to cameras. Canon's 1D MKIII, just recently released, is the speed champ of digital still cameras, able to shoot at 10 frames per second.($5000) Canon's 1Ds MKII is tops as far as resolution for small-format digital cameras, at 16.7 megapixels.($8000) To either of these, you'll need to add your choice of lenses. Lenses will be a far more expensive investment, especially if you want to obtain the maximum resolution. At the very least, you should consider a few L series zoom lenses, and definitely some prime(fixed focal length) lenses for maximum quality. Figure on spending anywhere from $2000 on up depending on your specific needs for pro-quality lenses covering a useful focal length range. Any recent digital back intended for a medium format camera will kick the butt off of any small format digital camera for sheer image quality. The Hasselbad H3D with the 39 megapixel back is probably tops at these. This will run you another $30,000, plus you're looking at $1000+ per lens. my suggestion go to yahoo shopping digital cameras digital camera GUIDE be sure to check titles on the left side the guide should answer your questions if you knew what your doing you wouldnt ask such a question. best camera for what purpose? buy a lens first then the body, you should be asking whats the best lens another impossible question try dpreview.com Given your criteria, I will ignore my usual impulse to ask what you want to do with the camera and what your prior experience is and I will just agree with Ben's answer, for he has named the flagship camera of the Canon line. I am not a professional photographer. If by some wild and crazy chance you were not planning on spending $5,000 on a body without a lens, I'd say the best Canon you can put in your pocket is the new Powershot SD850-IS. The best one that won't fit in your pocket, but costs under $1,000 is the G7. SD850-IS (IXUS 950 IS) Preview: http://www.dpreview.com/news/0705/070507... Sorry to disappoint you, but the 'best camera ever made" (including your choice of Canon only) will come out sometime after you've put down your hard earned money and bought one. Technology evolves by leaps and bounds. If you want a competition between all the photographers, it will just turn into a yelling match, and I have other things to do. The 6mp Nikon D70 I use and love, was at one time, near the top of the digital world. Now it's considered by some to be old-fashioned and obsolete. Considering that I sit next to pros who shoot for newspapers, magazines, and websites using even older machines at NBA & WNBA games, I guess I'm not doing too badly. The best digital camera is the one that's used by the best photographer in the world. When I meet her or him, I'll let you know. By the way, if you don't care about money, get a Hasselblad H2D-39 or H3D-31. http://www.dcviews.com/press/hasselblad-... http://www.letsgodigital.org/en/10534/ha... Sinar P2 or P3 Sinarback eMotion 75 LV 33-megapixel digital back Schneider Optics lenses This is a 4x5" large-format view camera and will run about $40,000-50,000 depending on which lenses you choose. |
