Any one know of a great photographer for a wedding.?

Alot of photographers are doing the "cadid" shots . And they look like someone just took them with a digi cam. I want the professional lighting lens' and black and white. Amoung other things( I hope this helps to paint the picture, no pun intended)
I am in the Lancaster Pa Area

I found a great photographer for my wedding... and CHEAP. What I did was put an ad at Craigslist.com for the city I was getting married at, and then waited for the photographers to compete for my business. I settled on a wonderful photographer who charged me $300 and gave me ALL the negatives, and he wasn't allowed to have the copyright on the photos (they usually hold you hostage on the negatives or copyright). http://youtube.com/watch?v=3Btmjg6vi4g has my wedding pics.

Try the internet

Let your fingers do the walking, ask questions, and check out their portfolio. Its the only way you will know if their ability and style matches your needs.

call around look at there portfolios and i would try to find and older one not to old but give the younger ones a chance to and tell them what you want i sure they can make that happen and its not hard for them to change that candid style into classical and agian look at local photographers portfolios and tell tham what you want good luck and congratulations on your big day

Google wedding photographer Lancaster PA and start from there. Visit websites and take note of the ones you like. Then arrange a meeting. Most (although not all) wedding photographers are doing the photo-journalistic style, so you may not see too many altar formals in an on-line portfolio. That doesn't mean they won't do them, you'll just have to ask in person and ask to see an entire wedding's work. Best wishes!

The best thing to do is to call up wedding photographers in your area and set up a meeting to look at their portfolio. Pick a photographer that shoots in the style that you are looking for.
