What is the best camera lens for me? |
I have a Nikon D50, but no lens. I'm an amatuer photographer trying to get better. What kind of lens is the best to use on it? I was suggested the Nikon 35-70 mm f2.8D but can't seem to find it anywhere but ebay and they get really expensive. Any suggestions from professional photographers? Thanks so much! I'm going to be shooting weddings(I have one booked for June), pregnancy, senior photos, etc. The best starting lens is probably the 18-55mm, however if you can afford the 24-70mm f/2.8 get it. both lenses will give you a decent wide angle to portrait lens range (the 18-55mm is certainly wider so if you are shooting landscapes, choose it). |
