Professional photos in the live concerts?

Hello ...here i am for one question..

Sometimes in live concerts, security don't let us go with cameras ...

I have seen many beautiful photos of photographers that go to live concerts and took them, and also i can infer that they are in front of the stage, not with the audience, they are in the free space in front of the stage.. and they not necessarily works in the newspaper or web pages of celebrities ..they just are profesional photographers.. so my question is...
are they pay a special price for this?, or how can they do that?

I'm very interested about being a profesional photographer, specially for take photos in live rock concerts because I love photos of Gigs(L) so...

someone that knows about this? how this works?

pleaseeee :/

You need at least two things.

Press credentials from a publication and a letter written to the venue or the bands promoter asking for a venue pass. After the venue pass is issued, your photo editor or managing editor will choose the photographer who will be shooting the event. Hopefully you are picked.

My managing editor sends me to a lot of interesting gigs and since I have been shooting for decades and have always brought back many more images than he needs, unless I am on another assignment, he sends me to shoot concerts.

Usually I shoot from the front of the stage, but on occasion, I get an "On Stage", "Back Stage" or "All Access" venue pass. I wear this pass as well as the magazines press credentials.

You will need to get a press pass to do this. Most people with a press pass will work for some kind of media outlet either as a staffer or a freelancer. They will all have a press pass though.
