Pro question? |
Does somebody have to be certified before being considered Pro. and if not what qualifies somebody to be a Professional Photographer? Other than being able to deliver great quality photos...like how many years experience ect...? Photography is like music. Do any singers and musicans need any degree to succed? Unfortunately, there is no required certification of any sort to be able to call yourself a "professional" photographer. Technically, if you are paid even one cent for a photo you took, then you are a professional. Generally, the word professional is used to denote one who makes a majority of their income from that particular thing. In order to be a professional photographer most of your yearly income would have to come from that. No certificate required. :) There are some people who are on the receiving end of the so called professional that will tell you that "pro" doesn't always equal quality. You don't need a certificate. Your portfolio will speak for you. for more info: http://www.olacom.com A professional is someone who makes a living with their craft. Also, a steady list of costumers or clients establishes you as reliable no matter how many years you've been at it. |
