This new gay co-worker is he a freak or a weirdo? He also send me a message in myspace at 2:35 a.m.? WHAT!?

Ok for starters I work at a family restaurant. This new gay trainee co-worker he training to be a server & he is friendly. An ex co-worker that I use to know he offer his boyfriend to the job. Ok at work, me & the server trainee we were talking & we were just talking general. He told me that he check & read my myspace profile. I was thinking "what the hell"? Then when I got home from work late & I check my e-mails, he (request me as my friend) in myspace already? I except him. Then later he send me this:

"yes, i want to see the long hair too!!! unless you want me to do the photography for you!!?? lets see, some black nail polish, army pants, combat boots, and some tsai's and your ready to kick ***!"

What should I do & how do I do it on professional way? I do NOT know this weirdo gay guy! Thanks everyone!

PS YES PEOPLE I AM STRAIGHT & I LOVE PUNANY!

DEAR Smiles all around :)

I am NOT perfect when it comes to writing words buy words. English it is my 2nd language & Spanish it is my 1st language. I may have over reacted when I was typing my question & I was also upset. I wish that you never answer my question & you are negative too. Sorry.

Hes obviously a very friendly person... big deal, that has nothing to do with him being gay. Myspace is very public domain, don't act as though its not when anyone from anywhere can access it. Actually i just realized this little freak out of yours is because you afraid he likes you, don't worry, he knows your straight.

No offense but is English not your first language? Your post is very hard to read...riddled with serious grammar errors (no I'm not the grammar police but it makes it difficult to see what you are getting at). There is nothing wrong with what this guy has done so far. Often when I meet new people I will check out their myspaces and maybe leave a comment or something...doesn't mean we are friends or anything. For now I wouldn't bother to say anything and maybe you will end up being friends...he just seems like a nice guy.

if you were so freaked out then why accept him as a friend in the first place.

Don't you think he gets a signal of encouragement from that?

Maybe he thinks you are more tolerant than what you are telling us here. you owe him the truth however badly that reflects on you.

Otherwise suck it up because you still have to work together.

if you are really freaked out just say "dude, i didn't want to be rude and deny you but i'm straight and im really not comfortable with all this kind of attention. If were going to work together we need to keep a professional distance."

This is obviously unusual behavior, however, depending on the personality of this individual,if he is the flamboyant type,it could be viewed as mere comedy rather than a sexual advance(though most likely an advance masked in comedy).I would say something like"that was a comical email you sent me,but just so you know,I'm not gay, in case you some how got the wrong idea,I'd appreciate it if you would respect that, nothing personal".Don't feel bad asserting your self in this situation as it was inappropriate behavior in my opinion.why?1- at the work place.2-He didn't bother to try to discover your s. orientation first.3-to quick.

Can you block him from your account, and just say you've deleted it?
Sounds a bit weird hey! I think you'll just have to tell him your not interested in him, in that way, and if he wants to remain friends, to stop sending you such sh*t nonsense. Maybe you should have messaged him back, and asked if he sent the message to the wrong guy, because your not into that kind of stuff.Or maybe another friend could leave you messages that everyone can see, which tells him that you are str8 as.
I feel sorry for you mate. Its guys like this that give the rest of us a bad name. He sounds like a creapy stalker weirdo.
