CALLA LILY:
Quite a small image and I can't tell how sharp it is - or have you intentionally-blurred it. Good that you took the time to provide a black background, so many beginners don't even consider backgrounds at all. Composition is a little too near central for my tastes and, if you want to increase visual power, think about the principle of 'Denial Of The Whole'. 7/10
YELLOW ROSES:
Even at full size, it is too small to judge the quality. Core subject is slap-bang dead centre again! Spend some more time researching composition and, in particular, the Rule of Thirds. 6/10
BRIDGE:
Does nothing at all for me. Means nothing. Maybe it does to you but the idea is that an image should interest the viewer, who may know nothing at all about the subject. After seeing this, I still know nothing at all. 2/10

Wow.. the Calla Lilly picture is incredible.. They are all great but that one especially.. good job.. I would love to see more. = )

pretty

Gorgeous picture of the calla lilly. You have a very good eye. I too am a "start up" photographer with very little training and some of my best work has been just trying different techniques. It's all about lighting and it looks like you are off to a great start. The roses are really nice too, but the picture from the bridge is just a bit too busy, even though the red building jumps out of the b/w background. Keep up the good work!

they're all very good. I like how clear they are, and very simple. I could see those images in a very nice room in the house.

Luv the bridge... good color and good cropping but, above all, good eye visualization.
from a 1 to 5 ....how does 10 sound ?

The others, couldn't load for some reason...

Great photo's,, I like all three..good color, focus and cropping....I am not a pro...but into photo and arts for fifty years

i love the downtown bridge good compensation rule of thirds is there awesome
