Wedding photography costs--- how much would professional photography cost for about 20 poses inside a church? It depends on what exactly you want and the level of professionalism you want. It also depends on your location. If you were wanting just some formal poses of you and the wedding party on a cd for you to print on your own, and it took approximately an hour, I'd charge $100. I also put them online with a password so everyone can see the images at no extra charge. If you wanted prints, I charge $20 per 8x10 size sheet. Which means you could get 1 8x10 or 2 5x7's or 4 3x5's or 9 wallets on a sheet. If you wanted an album, I would charge anywhere from $200 on up for a hardcover book type or higher for leather bound albums. If you wanted a dvd to play on a dvd player of the images I'd charge $150 . I am in Denver, co and I am just restarting my wedding photography business so my prices are a bit lower than those with more experience, but since I earned a degree in photography I charge more than the cheapest photographers. Oh ya and I travel if expenses are paid. When hiring a photographer I should add that it is important to like their vision. The reason to hire a professional is that he/she sees the world differently than someone with a fancy digital camera and a photo editing program. Believe me if all it took was a camera and a computer everyone would do it. And yes I admit everyone tries, but if you compare their pictures with a professionals of the same subject you will be amazed at what a professional does compared to the amatuer. Hope that helps Eirick Source(s): http://www.edlphotographics.com... That is a hard question to answer it would also depend on were you live most would want to take more pics than that to get the best possable pics but todays digatal cameras can do just as good as a professional if the person that is operating the camera is very good with one and can use the imaganation for the shots and anyone can contribute there thoughts on the pose they think would look good you will always get some you like and some you don't. But then go to the computer programs to inhance and fix things in the photos such as red eye remove pimples and so on there is no end to the things you can do with good camera software. Wedding photographers usually have photo packages that start at around $2000. This pays for them to show up and cover the pre-wedding, wedding and any reception held later that day. The results are usually published on a website that only the bride, groom and their families have access. Prints are extra and those costs can be seen before you hire the photographer. Editorial, sports and glamour photographer Check with friends and family first! You might be surprised to learn that a distant cousin or family friend has a talent for photography. Although you may not feel that you should ask someone invited to do a little work for you, you may be surprised how willing they may be. You can suggest that they take the photos for you and not worry about bringing a gift. Also, it would be customary to get them a small gift as you might for someone in your bridal party. If you plan to have a small ceremony and do not know of anyone who could take photos for you, just shop around and compare prices. Do a little digging on the internet, and you can usually find someone who is not with a large or popular company who can do it for relatively cheap. It also depends on when you have your wedding. Photographers are usually more flexible on price if you plan your wedding off season when they do not have so much business! My standard for weddings is $2000 plus prints etc, people i know (existing clients, daughters of clients etc) i do it for $1000 and supply a DVD/CD they organise prints etc. the way your question is asked is confussing me, if you only want 20 poses you may be able to just hire someone for two hours, depending on their rate will cost prob $250-500 |
