Hey guys
I own a 8mm Samsung SCL901 video camcorder. And I want to transfer the videos on it to my PC, but it has no firewire or USB, so I was wondering if I could transfer it with some A/V cords. Or I've heard that you can hook your camcorder up to your digital camera and it will transfer it for you. Well anyways I don't want to uy anything unless it's under $10 or sp. So please tell me if it is in any way possible to transfer through A/V cables. Or possibly with an S-video cable or any other cheap cables.
Thanks. You need to buy a video capture card. Some TV-tuner cards can also double as video capture cards. Expect to pay around $30 for such cards. These have RCA inputs and probably even S-video inputs. You have to buy a video capture divice USB in any computer store or electronics sales and then you connect it to the usb port on your computer then in the divice you connect the 3 cables: yellow , red and white on it.
the divice would cost you like 50 dollars no more and the mayority of divice bring it own program to edit , then you press (capture) and then press play in your camera and it will record it on you computer .
The USB cable that the camera brings is only for pictures .
The one that I telling you is for video capture.
I hope this can help you .
Have a great day ! |
