I have a Samsung SCD103 Mini DV Camera. I am making a video using Windows Movie Maker. When I try to capture the video via the tape, the video (visual part) is working fine. However, no audio comes through to the computer.
FYI:
-The volume on the computer is on.
-The raw video has sound
-I have speakers plugged in and on
-other audio, like music, works fine.
HELP! This is normal! During DV capture there is so much happening on your PC, it doesn't have cycles left to deal with outputting the sound. The sound is captured however, and that's all you want the capture function to do.
If you edit the captured video yo will find that when you play it, the sound is there.
If you a monster PC, it amy in fact have some steam left to output the video, but most folks wouldn't have a PC that capable for home use. video capture software has options/preference that default to capture only video. try change the preference settings. |
