Anyone know whats wrong with my Samsung SCD 103 Camcorder?

I have a samsung scd103 digital camcorder which has been working fine since I bought it a little more than a year ago. It's never been dropped or misused but as of recently when I go into to use camera mode I am only seeing a black screen on the lcd as well as the viewfinder. It seems to go back and forth when it wants to work and when it will act like this. By the way, video playback and all other features still work fine on the camera. Anyone who would have some idea about what's causing this problem would be greatly appreciated.

it's cheap

loose connection in the camera, take it back for warranty, otherwise something made it come loose. I wouldn't take it apart

why not try changing the settings.or may be you u have to use a different sd card.also make sure bat is high and the front cover at ur lence is open.may be try zooming out.also try to find out the switch which defines the enlargement of ur view screen.may be u should try to changa settings to auto rather than manual.helps alot.if it still dosent work send ur cancord 4 servicing.hope my suggestions r useful to u.dont mind spell errors.
