Anyone know anything about batteries and digital cameras??? |
Alright so i'm having huge issues with batteries and my digital. Its a brand new Samsung S630 and it seems to hate batteries. I just bought a brand new set of Energizer e2 rechargeables and put them in my camera and it said 'Low Battery' but there brand new! Please help, im rather frustrated... Almost all rechargeable batteries have to be charged before they are used. They lose too much power just sitting on the shelf to be able to use them straight out of the package. That's why they aren't as good in flashlights that just sit in the drawer for a long time until somebody needs one! Did you charge them first Ohh I completely understand what you mean about digital cameras hating batteries! First off let me be one to tell you that when it comes to rechargable batteries people or the companies say they still have the same charge as the first time they use them but they really don't, I've learned from experiance and found it cheaper to just go ahead and buy Heavy Duty or Digital batteries. All it means is that they're used in digital products and last longer. The manufacturer recommends high powered NIMH batteries. Rechargeable batteries should be fully charged prior to inserting whether new or not. If you hook your digital camera to your computer with a USB cable to download your pictures, this will eat batteries fast! If you have a memory card, use a memory card reader instead to manage your pictures. |
