please help!! thnx! SanDisk is a brand of media cards, you probably had a SD card which stands for Secure Digital, this card is also called a MMC or MultiMedia Card.
It sounds like the card you had for your old camera is the same one you will use in your new one, which is good because you can use your old card until you buy a new one, and then use it as a back up if the new card you buy is ever full and you want to keep shooting without deleting any pictures.
The SD/MMC card come in a variety of memory capacities.
the little chart below shows about how many pictures each of the sizes can hold while leaving your cameras resolution at its highest setting.
256MB - 76 pictures - $14.99
512MB - 151 pictures - $19.99
1GB - 303 pictures - $34.99
2GB - 605 pictures - $49.99
I don't recommend buying a 256mb card because you can get a 512mb card for about $5 more and it holds twice the pictures, the 1GB cards usually run $25 dollars on sale so it might be worth keeping an eye on the ad. All prices are from Walgreens (because thats where I work)
Hope that helped, and don't hesitate to ask me any other questions you have about your new camera
I am a Walgreens Photo Specialist. Get a Sandisk, but at least a 1 gig Get the largest card you can get. At least a 1 GIG storage capacity. I think the camera takes the sd card
at least one gb
