A GOOD,yet INEXPENSIVE digital camera? |
I currently have a Samsung Digimax A402,and it's a piece of crap! The pics turn out blurry, the zoom sucks, and it feels like a cheap piece of plastic!I bought it in Jan 06 as my first Digi Cam(it was only $98,my mistake),and I need a nice-LESS than $200,good quality new one. This very second, right now, Sony C 875 digital camera with 8.0 Mega pixel for $139 at ecost.com. Kodak Easyshare! ecost.com Sorry good ones are AT least $200 Digital cameras are not just about mega pixels Samsung might use poor optics never owned one... I have been happy with both Sony and Cannon but dont buy their cheapest models. ecost.com or compgeeks.com usually have good deals. happy hunting After lots of research...my husband got me the Fuji Fine pix F40. It is the best camera for it's size and price range. Try http://www.bhphotovideo.com because they have good deals on things like this. Good luck. First of all, sorry you got a samsung...yes, they are definitely CRAP! The Sony W55 is an awesome camera and $199 but you do need to buy a memory card. That usually runs around $30+ Honestly, in that price range, that is going to be your best bet. Anythig below $200 usually uses AA batteries, which means that you would have to spend $30 on regargable batteries bc regular batteries will only last in a digital camera for about 20 mins or like 5 pictures. The Sony W55 comes with a rechargable battery that lasts about 3+ hours. It has a nice screen that is covered in plastic so it will not break as easily. It is relatively simple to use and small and thin, making it easy to put in your purse or pocket and have on you all the time. sony has good cameras from like 150$$ Even though I personally own this ultra compact camera, I would still like to highly recommend the purchase of a Nikon Coolpix L10 for the following reasons: Sony - Cyber-shot 7.2MP Digital Camera - Silver DSC-W55 It's new high in performance and cheap go to www.bestbuy.com You got a lot of very good answers. I agree with all of them except maybe one. Kodak C875 is a good price as shown by one of your answerer's, but only average on battery life; and has no viewfinder. But $139 is good price. my suggestion You should get the PENTAX Optio W30. It has TONS of features, VERY good picture quality, its sleek & stylish. And to add to all that, its waterproof!
