I have a question about a digital camera and a memory card thingy. Want to help me please?

Okay.
I have a Samsung Digimaz A503.. it has 5.0 Mega Pixels and is apparently 2.0" LCD. I have no idea what any of that means, but I think it's good.

So, I got this SanDisk 128 MB memory card type thingy to put into it. It fits into my camera fine, but when I put it in, my camera won't turn on! When I first got the card, it worked fine, but now, for some reason, it just won't.

And yes.. I AM, in fact, putting it in correctly.
Any help would be much appreciated. :]

Are you putting in the thing corr...OH! Nevermind. Just kidding Meg, BTW, 5 megapixels means that the pixels in your pictures are very tightly grouped which= high quality pics. You could blow up a 5 mega pixel picture on the high resolution setting to poster size and it would still look good.
Your memory card might have been corrupted for some reason. If you have a friend with the same type of mem card, try to put it in your camera and go from there. Good luck.
The 2" lcd means that the little tv screen on the back of your camera is 2" wide.

try plugging it into a photo printer. just the card not the camera. it's possible the card is corrupted and your camera won't turn on because it's protecting itself.

Agree with the corrupted memory card.

A 5 megapixels camera will make great 8x10 pictures and nice 11x14's. Anything bigger than that and you will start to "pixelate", that is, be able to see the individual pixels in the picture.

Try taking the memory card to a photography specialty store. Many stores have memory card recovery services (call & ask first), and they will likely be able to fix your card and save any images that are currently on the card.
