Which place is best to buy a digital camera?

Tax free holiday is coming to my town this weekend! I need a camera for my science project. Out of these three places, which is the place to buy a camera considering the quality and price?
1) Target
2) Best Buy
3) Circuit City
And what is the best brand names for a camera, Sony? Samsung? Other?

Target, best buy, circuit city and even staples have good cameras you just have to bargain shop. Target and Best Buy probably will have the biggest selection. There is a lot that you look for when your looking to buy camera. First off you can get a camera with a lot of mega pixels which is good if your blowing up pictures but on a 4X6 or 5X7photo you will not see the difference between a 5 mega pixel and a 10 mega pixel camera because they are so close together. In my opinion the best camera is Sony because they have a Carl Ziess lens which makes a great quality picture. Cannon is a good camera too because they are originally a microscope company that puts really good lens on their cameras. Nikon is a good quality camera too. Kodak is good as well and has a high optical zoom which is always nice. But ultimately its what camera fits your needs the best and what your comfortable with and what looks good. So good luck.

i would say da best brand is samsung but my first choice 2 find a digital camera is best buy b cuz dey have sum nice cameras for very cheep prices dats why i got mine frum thier but u can also go 2 thier websites and check out which camera u like and wat prices r da cheepes out uv da 3 stores dat u have

those are all horrible places. go to a camera shop. sony or canon are the best. samsung has terrible picture quality.

I would say target,i guess.But just choose a camera you like to see,but don't buy it yet.Then go to those three websites and look for the camera's cheapest price.
For example: you see a camera in target.com that you like, let's a samsung ab1(doesn't exist) and the price is $99.99.
Then you go to other websites and look for the SAME camera and you look wich one's teh cheapest.So compare.
P.s.I would not know wich brand's the best.
