How do i download my pics from my digital camera to my computer?? (i have emachines)?

my camera is Samsung and i don't know how to download my pics into my pc. Help!

i tried it with the usb cable and i turned on the camera and it just said connecting to printer

I have a emachines too and you can take the SD card (the memory stick of your camera with the pics on it) and plug it into the SD drive or perhaps you have another drive you can stick it into if it is not SD.

ALSO if you dont have a port to plug ur card into, you should hve been issued a USB cable of some sort with ur camera that u can plug into the Emachines comp.
