Camera batteries? |
I just got a Samsung digital camera. After about 20 pictures that I take the batteries need to be replaced. The batteries are top name brand. I have had that problem before. The problem is that, for some reason, some digital camera has this glitch. After you shut off your camera, you should take out the battery otherwise, whether the power is off or not, the energy in the battery will keep leaking. yes, you would be best with rechargables. Have you tried Panasonic Oxyride? They're AA and made for the drain of digital cameras. Yeah, that happened on mine. However, I bought some rechargable camera batteries, and they last much longer. I highly recommend getting something like that. digital cameras suck up power your camera should be able to re-charge batteries providing the batteries are re-chargeable. Digital cameras seem to chew through normal Alkaline batteries quickly. I have a Kodak that performed about the same as your Samsung. I tried the Energize e2 ("EE-squared) Lithium Batteries. They last a LOT longer. Expensive, probably just as much as replacing the normal alkalines more often, but at least they don't run out when you're at your family re-union... turn off the LCD and use it sparingly it is an energy hog but 20 does seem a bit over the top I would have a repairman check for a short These are high drain batteries. the solution that worked for me was to purchase the energizer recharger and two sets of energizer nihm batteries that fit my camera. Was a $45 investment, but I haven't had to buy a battery in 2 years and these last a VERY long time. perhaps the flash is strong, the screen is one, and you keep watching what you shoot...try to get a rechargeable ones, of the same GOOD type.....and try to reduce the time the display screen is on.... I'm just writing to agree with shiro se. The E2 batteries last MUCH longer than regular batteries. Or - get some rechargeable batteries. Buy twice as many as your camera needs so you will always have a set ready to go. |
