Why does my Samsung slider phone do this?

ok...... I have a Samsung slider phone and when I go to camera, it either says camera failed or opens up the camera only to display everything in weird rainbow like colors. I would really like to know what I can do to fix this problem b/c I haven't been able to take pics for a while. When I go to camera settings and go to camera effects, I always make sure that it's set on no effects so, that can't be the problem. lol Anywhoo... any advice will help considerably! : ) lol thanks everyone!

go to you local phone shop and they should be able to take a look at it for you and it may need to be repaired away from the shop and the shop will most likely be able to send it off for you but it will cost.
also make sure you have backed up everything on your phone as most likely they will do a master reset while they are repairing your phone

you should take it to your service provider and see if they can fix it for you. It may just be something wrong with the lens or something.

Do you have insurance on the phone? if you do they may just replace it for you. If you dont and it turns out this problem isnt fixable your only option would be to buy a new phone at full retail price.

sometimes phones mess up for no reason. see if they can tell you anything at the store where you bought it.
