I have a samsung digital camera...and Windows Vista....?

to my computer, it installed the software that would let me transfer my pictures. When I tried unplugging the USB and then putting it again, turning on the camera and connecting it to the computer, the computer made a "pop-up" sound. It's making me mad, I really want to transfer some videos. Anyone know how I can stop this?

It is supposed to make that noise, that lets you know that it is correctly connected. Usually an autorun should pop up, but you probably have previously disabled it.

You can still access the camera through the software, or by going to 'Computer' -> and then whatever USB drive the camera is plugged into (It will usually be something like 'Samsung Camera Drive E:', or some other letter). When you open this, you should see several folders (such as 'pictures' or 'videos' or 'media', or something completely different [I don't know what that specific camera has]).

Inside of these folders, you will find all of the pictures/ movies you've shot with the camera, although it would probably be best to do it through the software that came with it.
