How do I use my sidekick?

So, my auntie just gave me a sidekick. She misplaced the instruction manual and I have NO CLUE on how to use it. So far I know how to get to the keypad. I've tried charging it but it wont turn on...So am I not pressing the right button?

Is there anything I should know about this phone? So far I have owned an LG Chocolate, A samsung flip w/o camera and another LG with the two big speakers at the sides. (Sorry I can't remember the names!)

*My aunt never USED the phone so she dosn't know how to use it either.
**The sidekick is with T-Mobile and im in the states on vacation. So, can I still use it in Canada (Ontario)...Im pretty sure that we have T-Mobile there......

You can download one off the internet just search google for the type you have.
