I need a sanyo software that will allow me to put my pictures on my computer.?

i just got a sanyo VPC-503 digital camera. and i can't figure out how to put the pictures on my computer. when i hook it up, it doesn't do anything. is there a software i can download that will do it?

you do not require any software ...

if you connect your camera to the PC via the usb cable, or plugging the memory card directly to the card reader, your files will show up on your PC as a removable storage device.

but if you are using old operating systems such as win98, you may require the driver (a file that is required for the pc to recognise your usb connection) for your usb connections before it can work. finding the drivers may not be easy, so i would recommend upgrading your operating system to winXP or newer since the latter operating systems has ironed off such issues.

have a look in my computer and see if there is something called removable drive.
that's your camera.
you can just drag and drop pictures to where you want.

buy a card reader, know what kind of memory card you have before you go. then you don't have to use the battery when they are uploading into your computer. they are very cheap and dont usually require any type of software installation.
