i am looking for a driver so i can put pics on my new laptop from my camera. also i am getting"this device can preform faster if using a highspeed port"... i dont understand what to do.I have highspeed internet, whats the deal. The device should have come with a CD that has the software or drivers. However, with most digital cameras, if you have Windows XP, it should connect without drivers. As your computer is telling you that it can perform faster, it is obviously connecting.
What it means by using a highspeed port is that older USB connections are slower than newer connections, called 2.0. You can add a USB 2.0 adapter to your desktop, but if it is a laptop, you will not have as much luck. This has nothing to do with highspeed internet, it is the connection speed between the camera, cable and your computer.
I have added a link to where you might find software to assist with your camera |
