Is this a good digital camera to buy? (Sanyo VPC-S500P)?

I turned 16 yesterday and I asked for a digital camera. I want this one:

My parents aren't willing to spend much money so I'm trying to stay under $100.

Looking at the features (5 mega pixels, 4x digital zoom, etc.) Is this a good camera?

I knew that Canon cameras were good, but I thought they were all very expensive. I want this one but I'm a little disappointed that it doesn't come in any other colors. It's a better buy, I believe. I think I'll go for that one.

I was looking for a digital camera today and I saw the pink Sanyo. It looked really nice, but I wasn't sure; i asked my dad, and he's really good at technology stuff, and he said that it was a good camera. Plus, it has a movie mode on it too. Hope you find the right camera!
