Buying a Camera Soon, Advice Needed? |
Hello, Also, I have another question. i notice alot of camera's don't have " image stabilization ", is this something I need, or should get? try a cannon i love them I'd totally go for Kodak. I have had a few and they work great. my suggestion Check this out. I would say canon sd 900, it's around $300 - $350 10 Megapixels Canon is a good company. I have a Canon Rebel XTi. very good DSL camera, but a little pricey at the time (has came down in price around $599-$650). As for fixed lens camera look for the optical zoom to be higher then the digital zoom (digital zoom uses software inside the camera to zoom and can make the picture look grainy optical zoom uses the lens to zoom giving you a clear picture). Don't worry about the mega pixels to much unless you plan to blow up the picture to 8 X 10 or larger. Also the larger the mega pixel the less pictures you can get on a card. I would look for more options such as image stabilization and lighting options. For rating info go to www.cnet.com and type in your camera name and look up the reviews they are usually very accurate. |
