I interested in buying a digital camera and need some suggestions. I need the model name and brand. My criterias are it must have at least 7 megapixels, slim and compact, and at least 3X zoom Check amazon. Coz it's dependable than eBay, U dont really get a good idea about the product's condition on eBay.
This camera, Konica Minolta Dimage, is good because of it's 12x optical zoom, or just search 'Konica Minolta Dimage' on amazon, u'll see great cameras. But they're not thin and light. They works really great than the thin cameras. Trust me, I've used them. They just look good but not a real good camera. OR u can see this one 'Casio Exilim EX-Z70BK 7MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Zoom (Black)'. It's cheaper and a good one in the thin camerahood. Almost all the digital cameras have 3X optical zoom system. Search through amazon.
Let me give you some advice, never buy something from eBay costs more than 100 bucks. Or else U'll regret later. And the bidding thing, SuckSSS... canon powershot 540- its 6mp, but for the price- i just bought one for $149.00 its awesome. There are a good number of manufacturers of digital camera out there. The most important thing is the Mps (Megapixels), as you have pointed out.
Obviously the higher the number, the more rich the picture will be.
Peersonally, I would find a few with a high Mps, then go with the manufacturer that I personally prefer (be it Sony or Canon etc).
Also features would play a part in my decision.
(Video Mode / Night mode etc etc) Stick with Canon or Sony. The Sony T10 is extremely thin and compact. The Canon SD800IS is not as slim but an extremely nice camera. you can get them at bestbuy or amazon.com.
