I'm looking for a nice sleek & slim digital camara that takes clear pictures, and doesn't blurr when you move nothing over 300 dollars, i would also like it to take video with sound some of you didn't give me the model number of a specific one, if you can add that, it would be really helpfull The best camera for under $200 is the Canon A550
* 7.1 Megapixel
*4X Optical Zoom
* Very good photo quality, noise levels low through ISO 400 (in good light)
* Well built for the price
* Very good performance
* LCD visible in low light
* Some manual controls
* AF-assist lamp, good low light focusing
* Good movie and continuous shooting modes
* Impressive software bundle
* Uses AA batteries; great battery life
* USB 2.0 High Speed support canon i always think hope you like it canon will be best for you because it is so slim but the only disadvantage is that it doesnt look so actractive If you want to buy sleek & slim digital camara go for canon or sony is better. i am really happy with my canon. although it was pretty spendy. if they don't make one cheaper than 300, you could call the company and see if you could get a refurbished one. I bought a Kodak EASYSHARE V610 over a year ago

hard to beat, with 6.0 megapixels and 10X optical zoom Even though I personally own this camera, I would still like to highly recommend the purchase of a Nikon Coolpix L10 for the following reasons:
1. Besides taking well-exposed hi-quality 5 megapixel pictures, it uses a standard set of rechargeable double AA batteries which last a very long time;
2. Has a 3x optical zoom;
3. The flash setting for "red-eye" correction is on the navigator wheel and not within a submenu;
4. It's very small and light;
5. Uses inexpensive SD memory cards;
6. The digital video feature takes wonderful "sound" videos which are noise free. It records the piano very well with it's built-in microphone;
7. It comes with a USB 2.0 transfer cable which you connect to your USB computer port;
8. And the price is a mere $120 [sold at Samy's Camera - www.samys.com, and Staples.com.]
Good luck! my suggestion

digital camera GUIDE
be sure to check titles on the left side
the guide should answer your questions If you are excessively shaky when taking photos (like me). I would recommend the Fuji Finepix F20, F30 or F40. They all offer picture stabilization, and the feature works wonderfully.
They also kick Canon's *** when it comes to low light photos at higher ISOs. The F30 is only worth it if you want manual control of the aperture and F-stops. Otherwise the F20 will do you just fine. The F40 is right around $300. The 20 is a 6.3MP and the 40 is a 8.3MP.
Read up on the Fuji's! They are great cameras and I know a lot of people who have ditched Canons for Fujis. Just read the reviews on Amazon for these models! |
