Who makes the best digitial cameras?

i would like to purchase a digital camera, only i am looking for a sleek, and slim, point and shoot camera...what iam asking is which manufacturare makes the best (sony? cybershot?..ect)

It's all a matter of what your looking for. Some are easier to use than others. If you are looking for a better quality camera usually Nikon and Cannon are the way to go. Sony isn't too too bad. Again this is a matter of opinion.

get a canon powershot, and possibly one with built in IS (image stabilization). for point and shoots i prefer canon, for DSLRs I prefer Nikon.

Nikon and Kodak, kodak is easy but not as good as Nikon
