I need your opinion on a digital camera...?

I am about to head out the door to buy my 22 year old daughter a camera for Christmas. I am looking for it to be around $200, slim, point and shoot, able to take several pictures without delay, any suggestions?

Cant pass a Canon my and still going strong

Most point and shoot cameras shoot continuously at about 2 fps or slower and depending upon the buffer in the camera can sometimes shoot continuously for over 10 images (depending upon the resolution of the camera) You can get a camera with more features for the same money if you pick one with a 6MP sensor. The practical difference in image quality when printed up to 8x10 inches is negligible when compared to a camera with a 10MP sensor in the point and shoot camera lines

Pick out three or four and then go to an electronics store and see which one fits best in her hands and has a menu that is most intuitive to here.

This site will let you search for cameras in your price range and then you can check out each camera model to find the one that best suits your daughters needs.

Look for cameras that use SD memory cards and ignore any "digital zoom" claims, but find one with a good optical zoom range (3x or better)
