Can someone help me buy a camera plzzzzzzzzzz?

Don't know much about cameras. I'm looking for a digital camera, slim/flat, black, broad screen, about 12MP, not to expensive lol.

Any suggestions?

I was looking at kodak easyshare v1253. Any feed back on this one.

Please make your suggestions/recommendations.

Canon PowerShot SD950 IS

The Canon PowerShot SD950 IS Digital ELPH features a compact, stylish case with rounded edges and a retracting lens to make it pocket-friendly. The Canon SD950 includes a 12.1 megapixel, 1/1.7-inch imager and a Canon-branded 3.7x optical zoom lens. It covers a fairly standard range of 35-133mm equivalent, a moderate wide-angle to moderate telephoto. Exposure is fully automatic, but the user can tweak it with 2.0 EV of exposure compensation and four metering modes to handle difficult lighting, while a generous 11 Scene modes keep the camera approachable for beginners. A long-exposure mode in the Canon SD950 IS also lets you manually set exposure times up to 15 seconds, and a large 2.5-inch LCD display plus an optical viewfinder -- rather rare on digicams these days -- is a handy alternative for framing images.

or Casio EXILIM Zoom EX-Z1200

Casio Inc.'s new EXILIM Zoom EX-Z1200 couples its high-res 12.1 megapixel CCD imager to a 3x optical zoom lens. There's no optical viewfinder, with the Casio Z1200 instead providing a larger than average 2.8" LCD display with 230,400 pixel resolution. ISO sensitivity ranges from 50 to 400, with the ability to extend to a maximum of 1600 in high sensitivity mode. Images are stored on SD / MMC cards including the newer SDHC types, and power for the Z1200 comes from a proprietary NP-40 Lithium Ion battery.

I just bought a black Panasonic TZ5. Small camera, huge 3" LCD screen. It's only 9.1 MP but it records movies in HD and it's geared toward the point and shoot community as it has an Intelligent Auto mode and many pre-set scene options. I love it so far. You have to purchase an SDHC memory card to store your pics/movies, though, because it doesn't come with one. Here's a link to the camera review. I paid $284 at Circuit City. I think it's $299 now since the discount expired last Sunday, but I'm sure you can find it around this price on the net. Let me know if you need any more help!
