I would use natural light and flash, with a view to selling 10x8 prints and displaying on a website. I do not want to spend too much and wonder whether to go for a digital slr or would a prosumer like the Fuji s7000/fz20 etc be perfectly sufficient? You could do a lot worse than Fuji S7000. The Fuji S series cameras are definitely worth the money. I have had the S5000 for a few years, and have taken some stunning images with them.
I also have the Olympus E300 and E500 DLSR cameras, and the E500 is a supeb camera, with much more variation on the flash settings.
It's also about your light setup, though. Natural light is the best if you have enough. You'll want to look at diffusing the flash, though, to avoid harsh shadows. You may also want to look at reflectors, to ensure that the natural light gets reflected where you want it.
Good luck! It's not a bad camera- but for really good results I'd opt for a Nikon or an Olympus E300. |
