I've been asked to take pictures for their BMX team, they want many different shots and will use the pictures to put together a portfolio to get their team to get sponsered. I have to drive 88 miles to get there, and 88 miles back as well as a $4.00 bridge toll. I will drive 10 or so miles in the city following them to different spots to take the pictures. I will be spending at the min. of 3 hours a day. I've been taking pictures for over 4 years now and I can take the kind of shots this team wants. I will be shooting digital with my SLR camera. How should I charge for my time there, driving, taking the pictures, etc and how much should I charge? Please help! Well I don;t know how much "gas" or your photo developing costs, work out how much all of those things would cost, then how much time you will spend doing the entire job, and work out how much however much you charge compares to per hour, if it's really low, boost it up a little. However much it cost gas wise,toll included,and hotel bill and add a little more onto that. |
