What's the best brand for Digital Cameras?!?!? |
Ok well they're are soo many to choose from! I am looking for a digital camera that it more advanced thean a point and shoot but no an SLR type..HELP Canon It depends on what you want to do. I think for simplicity and ease of use if you don't know much about them and don't want to learn, you can't beat a Kodak. I like the high end point and shoot cameras...with big zoom and all of the features, bells, & whistles. For those I've owned both an Olympus and Sony. They are both awesome cameras. canon sony, in my opinion http://www.bizrate.com/marketplace/buyin... I'm happy with my Sony. I like Canon, I know you are not looking for the SLR combo but that is totally what I would recommend... I have two Canons (a "pocket" and one with interchangable lens). I love them. I just got my sister one for xmas. The Canon S3 IS. Its a good learning camera that offer you a lot of manual control. You will like the 12X zoom and the IS. Image quality is superb too. Which is better? Chevy or Ford? Porsche or BMW? Mercedes or Lexus? Nikon or Canon? These are all unanswerable questions as they are all "the best" in their class, depending who you ask. Never touch Kodak. If you want expensive high-end, Canon is the best. If you want something middle of the road, Sony. If you want something cheap, the Canon Powershot is a good camera. I would stay within Panasonic or Canon if you're looking at a camera below $400. With Sony cameras, you pay for quality. The less you pay, the worse the camera is. Don't expect good pictures out of a Kodak. Once you use a good camera you'll know how aweful a kodak looks. One touch cameras are never good. |
