How do I take black & white pictures together with a selected color?

Like in Schindler's List with the red rose.
I have an Olympus Digital SLR Camera. I dont know if I could do it or if Photo Shop can do it. Thanks! I am planning a New York vacation next week and I think its cool if I can do that. Thanks!

You can't do it in-camera, you have to use Photoshop or a similar program.

You should take the pictures in color and then you can change them to black and white in photoshop and do what you want to do, but at least you'll have to original colored ones.

That's a photoshop effect, or some similar software. Taking pictures with only one color selected isn't possible. It's done afterwards in post-production computer programs.

You need to use photoshop. There are sets of actions you can buy that can do it automatically for you. Or you can use a layer mask.
