Ebay question?

i bidded on an slr digital camera on ebay and i lost but then i got a email saying the highest bidder got out of the deal, so i emailed the guy who was selling the camera and he said i can make an offer on the camera so i said $270 and he said ok. im afraid he might be a scammer, for him to except such a cheap price for a slr digital camera thats brand new. what you think?

have him send you a new email that you won the camera sounds legit to me,someone probably burnt him and he is looking at the next highest bidder. my advice is to go through pay pal they will back you up if something would happen....good luck

report it to ebay they have ways to check it out

What I would do is go to comparison sites like http://www.pricegrabber.com or http://www.mysimon.com, then put in the make and model of the camera and do a search.

This will give you a list of bargain pricing. Keep in mind that there may be taxes and shipping involved.

See if it's cheaper going that way.

Do not Entertain such activities, In case if he is a Scammer Ebay does not protect you from them as you have dealt outside Ebay

concidering i payed $700 for my cannon slr rebel xt
cheapest iv seen any slr is 500 and up unless its stolen and or broken

id tell ebay
