Do you have a digital camera that you think is really just the bees knees? |
I am still stuck in the ages of film camera - I love my SLR so much. But I want a digital point and shoot for ease. Any recommendations? yep Sony Cyber-Shot's are really great, and aren't too hard to work. They have many different kinds of Cyber-Shots, so you'll have to research to see which one fits your likings :) I have a lower end camera but I am looking to upgrade early this year. Your best bet is to read as many reviews as you can on the various wide angle lense cameras from Kodak and Canon digital cams. These brands are the best. Another good starting point is Ebay. I recommend the Canon SD700 or SD800 IS. Don't go for a Sony you will regret it. Try Canon and it depends on what you want to do with your camera. If you need some thing simple but high quality, try SD series. Especially SD700is and 800is. A little more complicated models would be A series like A710. These models have better zoom and larger lens but run on AA batteries. If you want better get G7 which has bigger body or the best are SLRs :) BEES KNEES!!! lol who says that anymore. Get a digital SLR. You can have the best of both worlds. Odds are your current lenses may fit a dSLR (depending on the brand). I have a Canon dSLR and love it. We also have the Canon SD600 and it also takes great shots. If you're looking for a compact one- I will admit Kegdawg n knows more about this stuff than I'll ever know. I own a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H2, takes great 8X10 photos. Consider it! Also consider checking out Nov'06 Consumer Reports magazine from local library. Because you use an SLR, then I would recommend you get a camera with full manual control (aperture & shutter priority) because you probably would want those features. |
