What is the best digital camera for what I need?

Features I want:

*SLR
*10 mpx
*The lense needs to be compatible with the whole family (so I can buy lenses from 20 yrs ago and use them on a newer model)
*Something I can afford ($800-$1000 at the most)
*Is digicombos.com legit? Has anyone purchased from them and are they worth it?
*Any other good digital SLR sites?

I think Fuji cameras use Nikon lenses, so you could buy a Fuji.

The Nikon D80 will do all that and it does use older lenses. I have a D200 and it uses some of my old lenses from the early 1970's (a 500mm mirror and 105mm f/2.5)
