Does anyone still sell digital SLR analog cameras?

What are the advantages of buying a SLR digital. I love my SLR analog, but I wanted the combination of the two and now I hear film is completely going to the wayside, I think this is a mistake. I like the option of film and/or digital.

Don't you miss just getting your hands messy in a dark room? I like my computer and working with photoshop, but it's kinda fun working with chemicals. and I like teaching pinhole cameras. It's like magic.

The differences between film and digital are becoming nonexistent? I think they became nonexistent about five years ago for a few seconds while digital quickly eclipsed any superior qualities film may have had.

There are analog digital cameras still in production but no one to my knowledge makes an analog digital SLR.

Yes...all the top quality brands still do. But, with today's technology on both the cameras and printers, the differences in film vs. digital are becoming non-existent. Same rules apply. Get the camera with the best optics. This is the biggest difference between good and poor quality camera. You can still send digital pictures to a photo processor if you prefer.

I also like the fact you can retouch digital photos before printing. Shoot a bad picture on film, and it's wasted.

sorry u don't find both in a single camera...advantage is ...
1. u can see what u have clicked and correct it instantly...in film u cant.
2. u can shot a frame in 100 asa and next in 400 to1600 asa...not possible in film.
3. saving in film cost...but digital camera cost i relay high
4.digital images are easy to store...good for publishing..and mail...save on scanning cost.
I use a canon-20D..i love it though i shot on films for more then 10 years... Digital give true colours and skin tone and texture which an film cant...film saturate colours and give more colourful images...but in digital u can do anything the way u like it

It's definitely true the line between digital photography and film photography is gone. No longer are the days where someone can say that digital can't produce the quality or the mood of film. That line was shredded when professional grade DSLR cameras came on the market

With a DSLR set on manual, you still control all aspects of the photograph.. the aperature, speed, iso, color balance, etc...

Then, when the advancement of Photoshop, you can produce any darkroom majic now on the computer. The tricks that only Master Developers could do, can now be done by any novice that's spent a year or so with Photoshop, Corel and Paintshop.
