Is there a digital version of the Minolta X-700 SLR Manual Camera?

I love the Minolta X-700 manual SLR camera.I would like to get a digital version if there was ever such a beast made.I know digital is newer and the original is much older but what I'm looking for

There is no DSLR body that will accept older minolta MC/MD mount lenses. HOWEVER, the Sony Alpha A100 will use the Minolta Maxxum mount AF lenses.
