What are some bad digital SLR cameras? |
i want to know what some bad digital SLR cameras are so i know what not to buy. This is a weird question. If you are shopping for a digital SLR, it's easier to say, if it is NOT Nikon, Canon, Fujifilm, Hasselblad, Leica, Mamiya, Panasonic or Pentax, don't buy it. Okay, you can consider Samsung, Sony, Sigma or Olympus if you want. If it's not on my list, it's not worth considering. Or I forgot about the brand. There are someoff brands that I am sure I never heard of. If I never heard of it, don't buy it. Okay? Stick to a current model, also. Some of the older models are real junkers by today's standards, no matter who made them. Gosh, I'm kind of disappointed (but relieved) not to see the names of any junkers out there. I was thinking the same thing - they are all pretty decent. Choose one that "fits" you. Report It Well the real investment in any digital SLR is with lenses. There are a ton of bad lenses out there. I personally shoot with Canon. Not that Nikon, Fuji, or Pentax are bad cameras. Canon has a huge amount of lenses to choose from. It really comes down to money. If you buy a digital rebel it will cost about $700 with a sub par lens. But you can buy a nice lens for the rebel and it is a great starter SLR. The Nikon d40 is also a nice starter SLR as well. You should test out the sets before buying. Go to big stores like Audio House to test it out. I'll list the two you SHOULD consider. Nikon and Canon. Staying with major brands not a brand no has ever heard of how can you buy a bad DSLR? Just stay with Nikon or Canon when buying a digital slr and you won't go wrong. |
