Where can I sell my old non-digital Nikon SLR camera?

1) Your local Craigslist:
http://www.craigslist.org

2) eBay
http://www.ebay.com

3) Find a photo swap meet going on in your area, if you live in an area where they have such things.

4) Contact your local community college/schools, find out who offers photography classes. Let the instructor know you're selling a camera, and they can refer a student or students to you.

5) Last resort: your local pawn shop or camera store. You won't get top dollar though. A camera store might sell on consignment, taking a cut for themselves.

craigslist is probably the best if you live near a large city .. otherwise, post a notice at your local community college in their photo lab.

Your local Craigslist is one great place. You can also scan the Craigslist "wanted" section for potential customers.

Another suggestion is leaving some cards on the display boards at your local community college, where people are taking photography classes. We've had plenty of posters here asking about where to get the film SLR cameras that their classes require.
