prices, pixels, lcd Have you ever owned a camera?
Do you own a film SLR camera?
What type of photography do you plan to do?
This is how you decide ... by answering these questions. If you have never owned a camera, then you are a beginner, and a digital SLR is way more camera than you need, now and perhaps, ever. If you do not own a film SLR, then you have no knowledge of focal lengths, aperure, shutter speed, and how these factors combine to produce photographic effects. These are basics you should learn about first by reading books, magazines, taking classes, or beginning with a beginner's camera.
If you plan to take photos of subjects in action situations, in low light, or a great variety of photos combining challenging shooting situations, and you don't mind having LARGE equipment (large camera, large lenses, large flashes, a large gadget bag) to deal with, then you might consider a SLR. Do a lot of research before you get one. Here's a site I liked when I was looking for a new camera:

250-350$
6-10pix
1-2gb Depends on what you are going to use it for, the higher the number of pixels the more expensive it usually is, and they all come with an lcd screen as far as I've seen. Look at your budget and try to get the most for your money. Also try asking someone who has a digital camera already about any tips they might have from their experience. Try their camera for a week or so to see if you like it. Wait for some more weeks. Some new better but cheaper varieties are coming to the market, if you are in India. compare products. Read user reviews in online stores. Compare price. Go for 8 MP. That will fit your needs. first you have to decide the quality you need
second you have to decide how much it will be
As there are many kinds such as sony , canan , SAMSUNG, benQ

It depends on what you gonna do with your cam
But I Think Canon Products are much better than other brands.
If you must Consider Price, MP and LCD size
Ithink Canon EOS 30D is good for you

If you can not afford that one, maybe Canon EOS 350D ( Rebel XT ) is better for you.
