Which is a good digital SLR camera of 6 megapixils, and has inter changable lenses. Help Thanks? The question you are asking sounds just like the requirements for a digital photography class.
If that is why you are asking about the camera, because you're taking a class.. I can let you know that when I took digital photography the camera that was recommended by the professors in the class was the Cannon Rebel XT. Another good option is the Nikon D70
I suggest going to a camera store (or even places like Best Buy have them) and checking out both cameras and see which one you like better.
Neither of the cameras is a professional camera, but it will produce very high quality images for a great price and it's a great thing to use if you are taking a class for digital photography. I have a Canon Digital EOS. I have and use the Canon EOS-10D. For a 6.3MP camera, you can't beat it in my opinion.
I am a professional photographer and use this one for events and school portraits all the time. It's a great camera! ****************************************...
Nikon, Canon, and FujiFilm make great digital SLRs. For the average photographer, either of these would be a good choice.
Something else to concider is battery type. Some take lithium type and are specialty purchases. This means that if you are out on a trip, like say in Mexico, don't count on the nearest store to carry one of your batteries. A camera that can use AAs may be something to concider. Also, like the Canon, although it does not use AAs, there is a grip adapter that holds AAs that can mount to the camera body. This gives a better gripping area, and provides extended use of the camera.
Another concideration is memory card type. There are several types of cards and some are a little more expensive as in the Fuji uses Dx cards and are a bit more, where any cameras that use SD (Secure Digital or CF (Compact Flash) cards will much more inexpensive to buy cards for.
There is LCD screen size to concider. Some are larger up to around 2.5" while some are smaller around 1.5". Also in the case of the Canon, you cannot see what you are photographing in the LCD until you take the shot. It is not real time.
I recommend you visit a few camera shops and hold a few in your hand that you like by looking at them and how they feel. Ask the salesperson some questions about best sellers and his/her personal preferances.
There are alot of cameras out there and it really is a question of accessory availability and cost. Also how the camera will be used, what functions you will need, and what you will be shooting alot of will narrow down your search.
A good site for side by side comparison data is:

I hope all this helps in your search. Good luck and happy hunting.
