The procedure of storage digital SLR camera in camera bag during idle period?Remove the battery and store it seperately.
Put a drying agent packet (you know, the silica gel packs that come with many electronics items -- you can buy "rechargeable" ones on the web that you can re-charge in a warm oven) in with it to suck up moisture and keep it away from the electronics and the lenses. Keep it in a place that's not too humid and not too hot or cold. That's about it. I offer free, climate-controlled storage of all high end digital cameras. Send it to me and I'll take good care of it while not in use.
Seriously, I agree with the first answer. I keep my camera in the house and the AC or heat is always on - humidity is not a problem unless you leave it in the garage or attic/basement or other areas that are not well ventilated. |
