What DSLR cameras are backwards compatible with Minolta SLR lenses? Since Sony bought Konica-Minolta a few years back, I am sure most if not all auto-focus lenses should work. You can use every Minolta Maxxum AF lens made since 1985 on the Sony DSLR line of cameras. Minolta offered 4 lenses in the "DT" series for the Konica-Minolta D5 & D7 DSLR cameras but they are for the smaller sensor in those cameras. Personally I'd avoid them. Sony absorbed Konica-Minoltas 2 years ago ,so you can choose from the OLD Alpha 100(this model is based on the konica-minolta dynax 5d and is quite unreliable) or the brand new sony designs the ALPHA 200 ,350,700 . |
