Which is your favorite SLR camera and why? |
Which is your favorite SLR camera and why? My favorite is my old Nikon F4. It uses ALL my Nikon lenses from my old 1969 version of the 20mm to my nearly new 400mm f/2.8 auto-focus lens. I work with a canon rebel xti and I love it. It is my baby I havent had a problem with it yet, takes perfect pictures and lets you choose if you want to use it manualy or fully automatic. My favorite is my Nikon D200. It's a major step up from the D70's I've been using for years. Rugged magesium chassis, full compliment of controls, and complete compatibility with virtually any Nikon F mount lens ever made make it a winner in my book. hmmm... Favorite... So far, i've developed a real bond with my Canon AE-1. While it's a quirky little camera at times, I've had nothing but good luck with it, and I like the focusing screen it uses the most (with the prism where when the images match up it is in focus). Using that focusing screen, it's really up to me if I keep my glasses on or take them off, rather than the usual ground glass one. Well I have a Pentax but I got it for a good price second hand. If I was buying a new one I would go for a Canon or a Nikon with Olympus as the third option. My Minolta XE-7. Buttery smooth film advance, very quite shutter, has multiple exposure capability. It was modified and sold as the Leica R-3 (Leica lens mount and metering system). N90's It's a brick sh**T house and never fails. The pentax k-1000 the greatest selling SLR |
